What's New in 1996?
(Technical stuff, updates, breaking news and others)
- December 26, 1996: Magnetic Pulser update: The MPG has been undergoing longevity tests. I'm delighted
to report that we got ~85,000 cycles out of the unit (see below). The main capacitor lasted an unprecedented
long time. I replaced the main cap, and the MPG continued cycling as if nothing had happened! Thus, should your
MPG run out of steam, a replacement main capacitor can be installed at a nominal fee. By the way 85,000 cycles
represents about 10 years of normal use.
- December 6, 1996: MPG Update: Well,
The Magnetic Pulser
(MPG) has been cycling away like gangbusters (see below). Today the counter indicated 82,000 pulses! I expect
the MPG to reach the 100,000 cycle point without a hitch. I'll keep you posted! P.S. The MPG shipping date
is set for mid January, 1997.
- November 28, 1996: Last weekend some of the gang at SOTA Instruments (Lesley, Claire, and Russ) participated
in a 3-day workshop on Live Blood Analysis using Ultra-Darkfield Microscopy. I tell
you folks, there's a whole new world out there under the microscope! Using these advanced scientific instruments,
we were able to see and understand how disease and sickness is started in the blood stream, and what to do to reverse
these undesirables. This is the most powerful diagnostic medical tool I've seen. The course was conducted by Michael
Coyle of NuLife Sciences in Boulder, Colorado.
- November 25, 1996: MPG Update: Whew!! A lot has been happening lately. First - SUCCESS!!
The
Magnetic Pulser is complete and functioning BETTER than expected. The output power has been verified to be
as we originally set out to design to. I used a Fluke Series II Model 99 Scopemeter to view the electrical
energy being sent to the coil. All is well within specifications, and is functioning perfectly. Also, to check
for longevity of the parts I designed special instruments to place the MPG on "auto" and just left it
running. I wanted to see what component, if any, would burn out first and shut the unit down. I fully expected
the main charging capacitor to last only 5,000 cycles as that is it's rating. However, due to unique design of
the MPG circuitry, much to my delight the MPG has racked up over 40,000 cycles so far at FULL output
(with no end in sight yet)!!! Thus, I'm very pleased and confident that the MPG will last an extremely long time.
We will ship the long anticipated MPG by the end of December or beginning of January (barring the holiday shutdowns,
etc.). Hey, thank-you all for your great patience, support and encouragement! It helped me to bring to you this
fine Magnetic Pulser
- November 9, 1996:
MPG Update: This one's a kicker!
Remember that 'ol washer test for the MPG (scan back a few updates)? Well, it appears to be an inaccurate test
of magnetic field intensity!! (Now they tell me) I designed a new test that definitively shows the relative magnetic
field of a coil output. This is done by placing a similar coil say 3" away from the original and inducing
a voltage into the second coil. This way I was able to measure the RMS DC voltage actually induced into the second
coil. My results? As I originally guessed, the output of my MPG design produces consistently higher induced voltages
compared to the current designs out there. As an example, a typical strobe based unit induced 5.7 Volts DC, whereas
my MPG induced 15.2 Volts. That verifies the 2.5 - 3 times larger energy output of my unit, even though the washer
did not fly up as expected. Incidentally, if I place the washer in the middle of the coil, it rockets up to the
ceiling! In the strobe unit, the same washer did not even move off the ground!! But placing the washer on top of
the coil, and slightly off-centre, my MPG sucked the washer back into the coil's centre (I believe the washer was
magnetized by the magnetic field, and was therefore attracted back to the centre of the coil), whereas the other
unit jumped up 7". I have regained confidence in my MPG design, and look forward now to delivering to you
a very powerful and unique unit. Expect to take orders beginning Dec 15th, 1996.
- November 2, 1996:
The Magnetic Pulser (MPG) update:
The design is expected to be completed this month! This time we're so confident that we'll be accepting orders
on November 30, 1996 for the MPG! This design will be very rugged, and will output an extremely high magnetic pulse
per the specifications. It's been a while designing this one, but the end result will be a better unit for your
use. Not long now...
- October 9, 1996: New Product! Our latest addition -
The
Silver Maker - is ready for production! The Silver Maker
is
a superb Ionic/Colloidal Silver Generator. The unit runs off a single 9 Volt battery, and also has a provision
for an AC Wall Adaptor. We're taking orders NOW for the
Silver Maker.
She's a beaut!
- October 9, 1996:
The Silver
Pulser gets a face-lift! Our Silver Pulser
has a new look. I've moved the jacks and switches to the front panel for ease in use and carrying around in the
pocket. The unit is functionally IDENTICAL to the original Silver Pulser, just more ergonomic. Also, I've substituted
some of the parts for HIGHER reliability ones. We are offering an UPGRADE special to our existing customers who
just have to have the latest and greatest! Details will be in our next mailing of the newsletter (due out this
week!)...so watch your mailbox!
- October 8, 1996:
The Magnetic Pulser (MPG)
Update. Whew! This is not an easy one to nail down! OK, the latest suggestion is that the coil design as
opposed to our power supply section, is the issue that needs attention. It appears that the dimensions
of the coil are critical. I tried an off-the-shelf coil to test the unit with, and it did not work as expected
as (referred to in my last update). The magnetic field was not as concentrated in the centre as it should be. Hence,
the washer did not jump as it should have! That is GOOD news since the power supply section appears to be OK. I've
wound a new coil using recommended dimensions and wire size, and lo and behold, that little washer jumped nicely!
All that's needed now is to source and order the components for the MPG. In order to keep the price as low as possible,
most components come from over-seas. This usually involves long lead times. I've got some good sources already,
so I should have no problem with the parts. Stay-tuned...we're almost there!
- September 6, 1996:
MPG Update. Preliminary
testing was performed on our Magnetic Pulse Generator and
it was found that the full power of the storage capacitor was not being delivered to the coil. The washer I used
in my tests were different than the one used as a reference. It seems that the components I specified in the prototype
were just not fast enough for the tremendous power that the unit can deliver. I will be re-designing the power
transfer section this time. For the raw speed required, I may end up using a Xenon flashtube after all. The reason
is that the Xenon flashtube is incredibly fast, and allows total power transfer to the coil. However, the design
will be proprietary and will meet or exceed the requirements. Sorry about the delays, but I am attempting to design
a SUPERIOR pulse generator that in the end will be well worth the wait. Back to the kitchen... :)
- August 23, 1996: NEW PRODUCT!! Because of such a tremendous response to the
Silver
Pulser's Ionic/Colloidal Silver Generator capability, we will be introducing a new
Ionic/Colloidal
Silver Generator (CSG) unit which will ONLY be for the production of the finest quality Colloidal Silver. The
unit will basically be a stripped-down Silver Pulser. The CSG will be for anyone wishing to reap the incredible
benefits of colloidal silver, but without the zapping protocol. Expect the CSG to be ready for production within
a month. Stay tuned!
- August 21, 1996: The NEW power supply for
The Magnetic
Pulser is passing our tests perfectly. We've abandoned the approach of battery operation, which considerably
simplifies the power supply section. Each MPG will come complete with an AC Wall Transformer, allowing for faster
charge times and a more reliable power supply. Our pre-production unit, which will be completed today, will be
sent out for analysis, critique, and approval. We want to make sure YOU will get the best product that you can
trust fully. Getting closer! (thanx for hangin' in there pardner...)
- August 17, 1996: Up-Date:
The Magnetic Pulse Generator
is going through some design challenges, so we're not quite there yet! I promise, y'all will be happy you've waited
'cause it's going to be a beaut! Actually, the challenge we're facing now is ensuring the circuit and parts will
stand up to the very high energy output of the unit. A couple of parts failed as we ran through a series of tests,
so we've had to re-think a part of the power supply. All this research and development makes for a better product
for YOU. We wouldn't want your new MPG to fail after a year's use. We'll keep ya informed, oh patient ones...
- July 14, 1996: We worked out some design specifications that would ensure the MPG will be totally
effective per specifications when built. Our prototype design is coming along nicely. Stay tuned folks! It's worth
waiting for this one!
- June 25, 1996: We had the Silver Colloid that was produced by
The
Silver Pulser analyzed under a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and also under a Transmission Electron
Microscope (TEM) at the University of British Columbia (UBC). It was very rewarding to actually see
the colloidal silver formations! Sure enough, the results verified that colloidal silver was being generated. Of
course, as expected we also saw the Silver Chloride particles that were produced as a result of adding the drop
of Celtic Sea Salt solution. (By the way, the TEM is capable of magnifications in excess of 200,000 power.)
- June 2, 1996:
The Magnetic Pulser is in the
final design stages. It's quite challenging to us, so we're taking the time to do it well. We think you're going
to really like this one also! We'll keep you posted!
- May 11, 1996: All of our
Zappers now include
Cotton Sleeves for the copper pipes. Anyone who previously ordered a
Zapper
from us, will have a pair of Cotton Sleeves sent to them at NO COST! Look for them in your mailbox...
