What is "The Zapper"?

Each Zapper is a professionally designed quality unit, thoroughly tested on an oscilloscope, and is guaranteed to operate per the specifications.

Our latest Zapper Model ZHC5 has 6 output user-selectable frequency/timer Modes. Output voltage is now 12 VOLTS DC peak with positive offset, compared to 9 Volts with previous units.

New Model ZHC5 features include:

• 6 User-selectable output Modes (see table below).

• Constant-Voltage output. The 12 Volt DC output remains at 12 Volts DC even as the battery slowly drains down. This feature is not available on any other known unit.

• Yellow indicator light comes ON only when the output circuit is complete and the electricity is flowing properly.

• Quartz crystal Micro-Computer controlled functions for precise waveform generation and accurate timing sequences.

• Auto-timer on Mode1 (7 minutes ON, 20 minutes OFF, 7 ON, 20 OFF, 7 ON)

• Auto-shutoff after 2 hours on Modes 2-6.

• High reliability 6-Pin DIN output connector conforms to Government regulations.

• Beautiful new ergonomic design.

• Soft carrying case.

• Low battery warning. When the output drops to below the recommended level, a Red LED light will illuminate, indicating the need for a fresh battery.

• Our Electrical Circuit Boards are GOLD Plated for extreme reliability and workmanship.

• Uses Conductive (Anti-Static) Straps instead of Copper Pipes.

• 3 Year Parts and Labor Warranty on all internally mounted components.

The Unit:

The Zapper is housed in a custom plastic enclosure with a built-in compartment for the 9 Volt DC battery. A slide-off lid allows you to change the battery easily.
The Zapper ships with Conductive (Anti-Static) Straps instead of Copper Pipes.

NOTE: Our custom straps do not have the 1 megohm resistor that restricts the output. Instead our straps are a straight-through design that conducts the electricity without any hindrance.

The cord for the Wrist Straps is about 4 feet long, is very flexible, and has two Dome Clips on one end to attach to the Straps. The Straps can thus be detached for easy cleaning with soap and water. (Hint: Pre-moisten the Straps with Tap Water for better conductivity.)

The Zapper is packaged in a very nice soft carrying case for easy storage.

Electronics:

The Zapper is designed to the highest standards. We have improved on the design with added features like longer battery life, and a low battery warning.

Specifications:

Input Voltage: 9 Volts DC (Alkaline Battery)

Output: ~30,000 Hertz (cycles per second), Square wave, 50% Duty Cycle, Positive Offset, at a constant 12 Volts Peak Voltage. To see the actual output waveform from the oscilloscope, please click HERE. Note the extremely square and symmetrical waveform; free of any spikes or artifacts. The frequency as measured in this unit is 30.081 kHz (30,081 cycles per second), and the peak-to-peak output voltage is measured at 11.2 Volts.

What about a Warranty?

The Zapper has a full 3 Year Parts and Labor Warranty on all internally mounted components. New wires and/or Conductive Wrist Straps can be ordered through us.

Our Policy at SOTA: We encourage you to educate yourself before using any of our units. It's easy to make a decision in desperation rather than based on information. We are a company that believes in self-responsibility for ourselves and our customers. RETURN POLICY: 1) If the unit has not been used at all, you can return it for a full refund (less Shipping Charges) within 30 days. 2) If the unit has been used but unit and case are in new condition, you can return within 30 days with a 20% restocking charge (plus Shipping Charges). With the Magnetic Pulser (MPG) and Water Ozonator (WOZ), the restocking charge will be 10% (plus Shipping Charges). 3) Return postage and insurance are your responsibility. NOTE: All repairs and returns require an RMA#.
